Gentlemen of the Road – Crowd Highlights
The Gentlemen of the Road – Simcoe Stopover was held at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds. It was estimated that over 30,000 people attended. for an amazing timelapse video of the entire weekend, click here.
I was lucky to be treated to a solo performance from Mumford & Sons‘ littlest biggest fan…2-year-old Jack.
It was a nice touch that band members came out on stage to introduce the other bands. Winston Marshall, Ben Lovett (of Mumford & Sons) and Gill Landry (of Old Crow Medicine Show) introduced Bear’s Den.
Such a great crowd…wonderful energy filled the grounds with music fans of all ages.
As the sun was setting on a stunning day in Norfolk County…waiting in the photo pit for Mumford & Sons to come on stage, the crowd was going wild. For as long as I live I will never forget the feeling of being at the front of 30,000 screaming fans.
The weekend was absolutely magical. thank you gents!
Make sure to check out the performance galleries from bands…amazing performances by all:
