Travels With The Ginger Gang – Toronto Harbourfront

Tichka and Little Dude (the canine half of The Ginger Gang) travel everywhere with me. they have been to OttawaWashington D.C., New York City and Boston just to name a few, but we have yet to explore enough of our own city. this new photo series Travels With The Ginger Gang will follow Tichka and Little Dude around Toronto…touristy sites, neighbourhood hot spots and hidden little gems.

if you see us in your neighbourhood, please stop and say hi. if you take their photo, please tweet/instagram us at @marcialeeder and use hashtags #gingergangtravels #gingergangTO

(they were already recognized on this first outing. thank you Claire for the instagram photo.)

for their first adventure we explored the CN Tower/Rogers Centre and Harbourfront yesterday.

Little Dude rocked the sunnies in front of our city’s tallest and most famous landmark. Tichka found some pigeons to chase…of course.  …and stalk. it was game day for our Toronto Blue Jays and fans had just started to arrive at the Rogers Centre. Go Jays Go! Tichka showed off her classic “sad donkey” pose for the passers-by. i think we were a little too early for the movie at Harbourfront stage tonight.  we found a bench for a peaceful moment down at the water.  it was very exciting to check out Sugar Beach for the first time. love those pretty pink umbrellas! and yes, the beach really is made up of sugar…no, just kidding. that would be one big sticky mess when it rained.  but the beach is made up of light coloured granules that mimics sugar. Little Dude took a drink break at the water fountain park…and tried not to get sprayed when the fountains went off. where shall we go next?! subscribe to our blog posts here to find out.
