Farewell Woody

i was completely shocked and heartbroken to learn of the passing of one of my favourite dogs, gone too soon. i first met Woody (and his wonderful person, Lynda) in 2007 on a shoot featuring Ontario Dock Dogs. he made us all laugh when he jumped off the dock, ignored the toy and chased after a family of ducks instead (way to live up to the Toller name, buddy!). i would see Woody many times over the years at various events and visits to see the beautiful toller puppies he fathered. his memory, spirit and dashing good-looks definitely live on through those Woodlets, especially Rory, who has the important job of licking Lynda’s tears.

Lynda, words cannot express the pain of losing your heart dog. please know that we are sending you tons and tons of love. i would like to think that somewhere Woody is jumping and chasing to his heart’s delight. sleep well, sweet prince. – Marcia xo
