A Big Red Love Affair

On a chilly snowy day, I met Kim and her handsome horse Red at The Freedom Horse Club in Stouffville.

I have known Kim since I first photographed her with her dogs, Angus and Loki, in 2009. Red came into Kim’s life last year and she quickly moved out of the city to be closer to him (and for fresher air and quieter nights too). She loves her big, goofy, red boy. It’s a true love affair.

What woman doesn’t turn back into a little girl when she’s with her horse?

Thank you, Kim, for being such a great sport in the challenging weather. I’m definitely up for a ride next time…perhaps in the summer though.

As soon as we were finished out shoot the snow stopped and the sun came out. Oh well, at least they Kim and Red went out a ride later in the beautiful day…sorry I missed it.
