great strides 2010
on Sunday May 30, 2010, for our 6th consecutive year, The Leeder Family and Friends participated in the annual Great Strides walk to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis at the Toronto Zoo. across the nation we helped raise a record-breaking $2.5 million, not to mention that we had a blast doing it.
it was an especially fun day for my niece kala and her little friends…skipping to the next exhibit, getting so excited every time they collected a new stamp for their map, seeing their favourite animals, eating popsicles and getting painted arm tattoos. witnessing their infectious excitement, definitely made me want to be a kid again. wait a minute…i am always a kid at the zoo!
