farewell woody

i just heard of the sad passing of a old friend. woody, the ‘czech wolf-hound’ (as he was known in familiar circles), passed away last week at the ripe old age of 17.

such a long life for such a distinguished gentleman. didn’t he have the best face?! and those ears?! and that fantastic mane?! woody was definitely an original.

now i haven’t seen woody in years (the photos below were from 2005 and 2006), but i often received his household updates. so sorry to hear this one.
