farewell bennet

i just heard the belated, yet very sad news that one of my early portfolio favourites, Bennet (one half of a sister-pair of bearded collies from Classical Beardies), passed away earlier this year.

i used to see Bennet and her sister Dagny on a regular basis at the park with their dog walker. they were such good sports at letting me practice my craft.

these photos were taken in the summer of 2005. everyone went crazy over the shot with her hair blowing in the wind as she is trotting along.

so sad. look at those pretty locks…wasn’t she lovely?!
