celebrating the new

…so i encountered a few bumps that gave me a slow start to the new year, but i’m happy to report that i’m back and ready to take on 2011 guns-a-blazin’!

a new year is exciting because it’s a chance to start again with a clean slate. but at the same time i feel the need to reflect on this past year…the good, the bad, the utterly ridiculous and the freakin’ awesome!

i experienced many changes throughout 2010, both professionally and personally. i have learned and grown more than i could have imagined in one year. i have a brand new outlook on life and discovered what is important to me and what i can’t live without. for all of the experiences and everyone i met along the way i am truly grateful.

thank you to all my wonderful clients who allowed me into your lives and generously continue to refer me to your friends. i whole-heartedly admit that i fell in love with every child, dog, cat, horse, llama, monkey et all that i had the pleasure of spending time with.

a huge thank you to everyone who makes me smile on a daily basis with your lovely comments on my posts here as well as on my marcia leeder photography facebook page. it truly means the world to me to know that my work can bring a smile to your day.

now, although i will not be making any new year’s resolutions (we all know how long those last), i do have a very long list of goals that i want to accomplish this year. i will make a point of checking in at the beginning of each month…making sure i am on the right path by being true to who i am and who i strive to be, while always remaining inspired and inspiring others.

i often feel overwhelmed and overjoyed that i get to do something that i absolutely love for a living. thank you to everyone who contributes to that joy.
